ou will be picked-up from your Mombasa hotel in the morning and drive along the Mombasa-Nairobi highway to Tsavo East. It takes two hours to the park, but before entering the park we shall have a stopover of maybe 30 minutes to freshen-up. We enter the Tsavo East through Bachuma Gate then start searching for Big Five ( Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard ) We shall stop briefly at Aruba Dam to see animals drinking water. And proceed to Voi safari lodge or similar) for checking-in and lunch. After lunch you can decide to go for swimming or have a siesta.
At 16.00 hrs it's time for the evening safari game-drive searching for the warthog, ostrich, jackal and many other different animals. Come back to your Tsavo East Safari lodge/camp at 18.00 hrs for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, we will depart for the Masai Mara Game Reserve, stopping at the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley and at Narok town for lunch. Arrive in time for a late afternoon game drive in this park, which is essentially the northern extension of Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park as an artificial border only separates the two. Dinner and overnight at a lodge / campsite.
Early breakfast followed by a full day of game drives within the reserve. The Masai Mara is famous for it’s black manned lions, elephants and buffalo that make three out of the ‘big five’ though luck is essential for spotting the other two namely park’s animal concentration and abundance is second to none. We will cater for a picnic lunch at the hippo pool where with luck you may spot crocodiles basking on the rocks. Numerous plains game including antelopes, wildebeest, zebra, Masai giraffe can be seen as well as scavengers like hyena and vulture. In the late afternoon (at an extra cost), go for optional activities like having a nature walk, visiting Masai villages to see the nomadic lifestyle or swimming in the nearby lodges. Rest of meals and overnight at a lodge / campsite.
Early morning pre-breakfast game drive. After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru. While on the highway Mount Longonot (which is of volcanic origin) and Lake Naivasha can be seen from afar. Lunch at lodge/campsite. Afternoon option game or (at an extra cost) nature walk with a Masai guide, visit local Masai village to see their nomadic lifestyle. All activities will end in the late afternoon. Proceed for evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at a lodge, budget hotel / campsite.
Early morning breakfast then depart for Amboseli via Nairobi with lunch en-route. Arriving in time for evening game drives. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge or camp.
Amboseli is known for its large herds of elephant, made famous by the work done by Cynthia Moss and the Amboseli Elephant Research Project. Here you will also find lion, giraffe, buffalo, warthog, vervet monkey, zebra, antelope, and the dik-dik, smallest of the antelope species. With varied vegetation, but mainly open savannah, game viewing is excellent.
Early morning game drives. After breakfast proceed to Tsavo West National Park, visit Mzima Springs. Continue with safari game drive enjoying the scenery and looking out for wildlife as we head to our safari lodge or camp for check in and lunch. Afternoon safari game drive including a visit to the Rhino Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp.
Have an early morning game drive, the best time to see the rich birdlife of East Africa and wildlife returning to Safari Camp for breakfast. After breakfast, continue with the mid-morning game drive in the park until lunch at the camp. After lunch depart back to Mombasa arriving in the early evening. Transfer and drop off at your Beach Hotel.
